Keeping History Alive
Across Florida, local Quester chapters bring that mission to life through historic sites, antiques, educational programs, preservation projects, and friendships. At the state level, members gather annually for educational opportunities and to connect with Questers from across the region.
We learn together through programs, speakers, visits, and exploring historic places, objects and collections. We also help support preservation, resotoration, and history-education projeccts in our community.
TREASURED MEMORIES #1096 - The purpose of the Pinellas Pioneer Settlement, located on the west side of Lake Maggiore in St. Petersuburg, is to authentically recreate the lifestyles of our pioneers from 1880 to 1920. Treasured Memories has been instumental in obtaining a 1920’s antique brass cash register, a pie safe, and purchasing items for the other buildings. This was done through PR&E Grants and auctions with members. Members volunteer at the Autumn Harvest, Family Festivals and the Christmas Jamboree to help raise money for the Settlement.
LOVIE PRITCHARD #561 – Erected in 1891 by Capt. James Pritchard, a Civil War infantry commander, this 2-story Queen Anne-styled home has had a bedroom furnished by members of Lovie Pritchard. One of the chapter members has invested thousands of hours researching paint and wallpaper details, fixtures, etc… The Chapter is currently creating a memorial garden with bench, arbor and more.

In April 2026, Clayton Woods #808 proudly celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a special gathering at the White Heron Tea House in New Port Richey. This milestone event honored five decades of fellowship, shared history, and lasting friendships within their chapter.

HAPPY 50TH FLORIDA QUESTERS
On April 1, 1976, Florida was the 12th State to Charter. Marie Grow, Charter President, was a member of Seminole #149.
At the Spring Council Meeting on March 26, 2026, there was a special cake to commemorate this auspicious occasion.
